Steps for LoginVSI Target setup i.e. the VMware View/XenDesktop/XenApp environment

Install the LoginVSI ‘Target setup’ software. When prompted, provide the ‘VSI Share’ path

NOTE: Please ignore any warnings or information related popups, once done follow below steps to modify the scripts.

Navigate to the software path – C:\Program Files\Login Consultants\VSI\Files\Logon.cmd

–Remove the following line from the batch file:

REG ADD HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run /v Locallogon /t REG_SZ /d "%programfiles%\Login Consultants\VSI\Files\LocalLogon.cmd" /f
–Add the following line at the bottom of the batch file:
call LocalLogon.cmd
Save the changes
Navigate to the file path – C:\Program Files\Login Consultants\VSI\Files\LocalLogon.cmd
–Remove the 2 lines that contains the word ‘kidkey’
Create a shortcut of the ‘Logon.cmd – shortcut’ file in startup programs folder.
–Right-click the Logon.cmd file and select a ‘Create shortcut’ to create a shortcut of the script.
–Start > All Programs > scroll down to ‘Startup’ folder
–Right-click ‘startup’ folder > Select Open > Drag n drop the ‘Logon.cmd – shortcut’ file create in above step to the startup folder directory.
Apart from this, please also install any application(s) that you think should be added in the custom script depending on the type of image (GPU, standard etc.)
